Warehouse Operations Manager | Cromer

We’re bringing our warehouse operations in-house, and building a new home for it in Cromer on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. It’s a build from the ground up, and we need someone who wants to own the operations end to end.

We’re looking for someone to run it. Completely. The transition from 3PL, the systems, the team, the numbers, the accuracy - all of it is yours. The wins are yours to chase, the problems are yours to solve.

When something’s working, you scale it. You’re setting up the engine room the whole business runs on - stock accuracy, dispatch speed and cost control all sit with you. One moment you’re training pickers on a new process; the next you’re negotiating freight rates, or presenting inventory KPIs to the leadership team.

What you'll do

 

• Lead the move out of our 3PL and build the Cromer warehouse from an empty floor to go-live — layout, storage, workflows, tech and equipment.
• Own our WMS hands-on (Peoplevox or comparable) plus Shopify + CIN7 integration, keeping inventory accurate across every channel.
• Design fast, accurate, low-friction pick, pack, receiving and returns — and keep raising the bar on dispatch accuracy and on-time performance.
• Hire, train and lead a floor team that takes pride in speed, accuracy and safety, and run the day-to-day people side.
• Manage freight, labour and overhead against budget, own WHS and stocktakes, and use KPIs to make the case for every change.

You'll thrive if you

 

• Have 4+ years managing a warehouse in retail, with a build or 3PL transition already under your belt.
• Know your way around a WMS hands-on — ideally Peoplevox, with implementation experience a big plus.
• Manage Shopify/CIN7 integration confidently and have a slight obsession with inventory accuracy.
• Read freight, labour and overhead costs and act on them, not just report on them.
• Lead a floor team naturally and stay unrattled by peak season, supplier hiccups and growing pains.
