Lengthen the lifespan of your REC GEN with these expert care tips.
WASHING
Many REC GEN styles have bacteria fighting properties which means they do not have to be washed as frequently. Wash in cold water only, a 30min cycle is all they need.
HANG THEM OUT
Avoid the dryer! High heat will eventually break down the elasticity and can deteriorate the fabric. Air drying is best.
BE DELICATE
REC gear is durable, but you should still be gentle with it. Turn inside out to protect the branding. Never wash with anything fluffy like towels as the lint will transfer.
BE SELECTIVE
Use a gentle detergent and skip the softener. Harsh detergents can damage activewear's performance & softener can degrade sweat wicking properties.
